From 2013 Chery uses this new logo

As part of its ongoing internal reorganization, Chery is preparing to unify its domestic and international sales networks, the Beijing Times reported today. According to the paper, Chery Automobile Deputy General Manager and Chery International General Manager Zhou Biren, who previously worked as head of the manufacturer’s global sales branch, will oversee work done in the sales network. According to Chery’s explanation, the unification of the two sales channels will allow the manufacturer to view issues from a global perspective.

According to Mr. Zhou’s proposal, the head of Chery’s sales branch, Zheng Zhaorui, will be promoted to assistant to the general manager. The proposal also explains that the sales branch’s operations will be overseen by Chery Automobile. In essence this seems to imply that Mr. Zheng will report directly to Mr. Zhou and Chery Automobile Board Chairman Yin Tongyue.

Chery has previously announced similar reorganizations of its R&D, production and purchasing departments.
